i need help on jack dempseys sexing them

hi can any one tell me what a male jack dempsey looks like and a female jack dempsey looks like i am new to this website please help.​

look under the gill plate if there color its female males have no bright colors under there mouths

Top one with RED circle around Gill plates is a Female Bottom with the pink circle around gill plates Is the Male

Notice the female is more blue through the bottom and under .. And the male blue is more toward the top with much less blue going under the jaw Hope this helps..

you usually can get a good idea at that size, but once a little larger it will be pretty clear
