I need help picking a catfish

I am want to get a catfish for my 200gal. I don't want anything that will get over a foot long but won't stay tiny enough to be eaten. I would like something like a pictus cat that stays active and I don't have to try an find him all the time. I have a couple large oscars that will probably try to eat anything 3-4" long. If anyone has some suggestions they would be appreciated. Thanks
 
if you like pictus but want a cat a tad larger, try pimelodus ornatus or pimelodus blochii. they are from the same family and can grow up to a foot.
 
I would recommend columbian sharks, but they're some that may get to be a foot...but usually they only get to be around 10". Also, I've heard they require or need brackish water when they are larger. So, how about an upside-down catfish (synodontis eupterus)? They're cool and only get to be about 8"...your oscars shouldn't mess with them even when they get to be max size. Or you could get an angel catfish (synodontis angelicus)...they only get to be 8" also.
 
Thanks for the suggestions. I really like the looks and markings of the pimelodus ornatus. It looks like they only reach about 11" also which is perfect. None of the stores in town stock them so I am going to have to search around. The I would prefer to not have to deal with the brackish setup with the columbians. Thanks for the help.

Pimelodus Ornatus do look cool, never seen any before... until now, when I looked on google :). Did you try to have your LFS order you one?

There isn't much around here a pet smart & pet supply plus. I know pet smart won't order anything they don't carry. Pet suply has said they will but I have left contact info & told them what I was looking for and they never got back with me. I am only about 45 minutes from detroit where there are some big aquarium shops. I am going to call a couple of them today & see if they can order me one if they don't already carry them.
 
I ended up getting two 4 line pictus as they were labeled in the store. Hopefully they get a little size to them soon. The 90gal I am useing for my grow tank is getting crowded.
