ph is 7.0 checking ammonia as we speak...

ammonia is 0.5

What are your nitrites and nitrates? Do water changes until both ammonia and nitrites are zero. Look up hemorrhagic septicemia in one of the sticky threads we have here.

yea that may be the problem the nitrite level is high so just water changes will help?

does crushed coral have anything to do with the nitrites being high?

Yes.

No. If the pH is high, then the ammonia will be more toxic compared to low pH environments. Consider isolating the fish. If suspected to have hemorrhagic septicemia, get Binox, Maracyn or Furan for treatment.

ok will isolate.... u dnt think its too late right?
