Recently I got a bad batch of feeders from the local pet supplies plus and some of my fish got it. I removed all of the feeders from the tank and was going to do the heat and salt cure after vacuming out the gravel and doing a partial water change. I was curious if the fish I have in the tank are able to handle the heat and salt treatment. I have 2- 10" peacock bass, 3-clown knives, 10" tire track eel, 5" bowfin, 4" jaguar catfish, and a 6" shovelnose catfish (zebra alianza). Any help would be appreciated because all of the fish in this tank are my pride and joy especially my 2 peacock bass. Thanks again
Josh

Most tropical fish can handle the heat up to 85 and a little salt, remember to keep the light low as ick thrives in high light environment.

I've increased and kept the temp at 88ºF for weeks without prob. Just dont depleat the water of oxygen as heat will allow more oxygen to escape than cooler water.
BTW, the ich lifecycle encompasses approx. 2 weeks so dont stop treatment just because the physical signs of the illness goes away.
