I currently have a common musk, musk , eastern mud, painted and the last one I need help identifying. The two smaller turtles(painted and green and bright yellow) have discoloration at the bottom of the shell.

The mystery green and yellow turtle had almost doubled in size compared to the painted turtle. The older looking turtle is loosing the coloring of her mouth. They all eat great, very active and the younger ones are really growing. I want to make sure they will be okay. I have included some shell pics too. The undersides are firm and not soft. The color as slowly started disappearing after I got them. Thanks for your help.

The painted looks like a southern from what I can see; does it have a prominent red stripe down the middle of the carapace? Hard to tell from the photos. The other turtle is a yellowbelly slider. Can't help with the shell discoloration, sorry.

The larger is indeed a Yellowbelly Slider (Trachemys s. scripta) and the smaller looks to be an Eastern (Chrysemys p. picta), as the scutes seem to line up laterally. If they do not, and it has a stripe down the center, it is indeed a Southern (C. p. dorsalis). It's not a Midland or a Western, as both have large dark blotches on their plastrons.

What kind of turtle is that? The big one in #9/#11? Looks like a mud turtle but not sure what kind.

Keep an eye on that painted turtle, as the other turtles grow it might have a tough time competing for enough food etc.

Not sure about the color issue, do they get any natural sunlight or have a UVB lamp? I've seen turts with faded color from not getting UV.

CTU2fan, there is a UBV lamp over the basking area. I will try to get clear shots for you. The tote is double stacked and in between the totes are layers of cork padding. The last tote I had was much longer than this but it didn't hold after a while. A small drip developed at the bottom in a corner.

Hmm OK didn't see one in the pic so I thought I'd ask. Yeah the totes weaken at the edges and corners, especially if you ever have them outside.

The older turtle looks to be a musk, but what species I can't be sure. The thing is, most turtles lose coloration in captivity, and for many musks this lightening around the mouth is standard. Better pics for a certain ID would help.
