72 x 24 x 30 / 231 cu in = 224 gallons. Depends on the manufacturer what they 'call' the tank. I have one that size by Perfecto and it's a 220G.
Trust me when i say this, its probably overpriced or not worth buying even if its a good deal because theres a better option. Check craigslist everyday for a week or up to a month, dont be afraid to look out of your area a little if your looking to invest in a tank that size. If you do you can find perfect condition setups and even package deals including filters/heaters and everything you need to start an aquarium all in great condition for like 25-50% of what you would pay for a new one. It just takes a bit of work and determination. Also your helping someone else by taking it off their hands, its a win-win. If you have money fallout out of your pockets though then have at it.
It depends on a lot of factors such as tank condition, scratches, silicone quality, etc. + how badly you really want it. For just the tank and stand in good condition, I personally wouldn't pay more than $250.
Yah i ask for lots of details on tank condition with multiple pictures of different angles before i consider a used tank, but it is buy far the most economical way to get a tank.
