I am a newbie here, i have two question or maybe three. i was just wondering could you use cat-litter as a form of filtration in a wet/dry. If so could i mix cat litter and carbon together or i have to use it in different area of the wet/dry compartment. Thanks you for your input. Have a wonderful bless weekend

I would be worried about harmful chemicals in the litter. why would you want to risk it to save a few bucks? sounds messy also... litter seems to be very dusty.
cat litter has an amonia reducing compound in it that will stall the bio cycle , this is very similar to zeolite . its also very dusty and will make you water hard as hell
