Heres a challenge for all the DIY guys. Not for an aquarium but I havent been able to find any info anywhere else. I need ideas or plans for a DIY Ice fishing seat that will fit onto a 5 gallon bucket. Any and all Ideas and info would be apprciated.

Thanks Mac

ive seen cuttingboards that fit on the bottom of a 5 gal bucket made of thick plastic. get one of those and epoxy a nice seat cushion to the top of one.

Hi Mac,
Keep your eyes out for a bucket with a screw top lid. The bucket will hold your fish & etc. Cut a piece of plywood to fit just inside of the rim of the lid. Get a piece of foam rubber and cut it to the size of the wood. Now get a piece of vinyl or faux fur (or what ever else you can scrounge up). Lay the vinyl face down, place the foam rubber in the center, and place the wood on that. Now using a staple gun, attach the vinyl to the wood. Next trim the excess vinyl. Now take the lid and put it upside down on the wood. Screw the lid to the wood. Choose your screws wisely, keeping in mind that your butt will be on the pointy end of the screws.

Hope this helps,
Ron

Now that's an idea.

...and, ummm....

Would a Lazy-Boy on skiis be out of the question?

Or if you want to take it out... Bolt some 1x1's to sides of a 8"-10" PVC and then bolt or nail or screw a pillow to a piece of ply wood after you screw the plywood to the 1x1's LOL
