Can you give me some back ground info? How did this happen? Injury or did it just appear? Can you post your water perameters?

Yes background like: size of tank, how long set up, other tank mates, water parameters (temp., ammonia, nitrites, nitrates), how long it's been there, is that how it has looked since it showed up, has it changed in any way, etc.?

I don't no anyting i just rescue him in the tank where it was is like 120 gallons and has no heater and a small canister filter with other central america fish
I just ask the owner and he answer this (It just show up infection. I thing from water change)

The same thing happened to my fh. Not sure why or how it happened but it ended up passing after a week or so. Water changes, salt, and meds did not work for my fh. But keep trying to get it back to good shape or the meat will rot and start to get eaten away. Gl with you fh. He may have a chance

In order to sugguest a corse of treatment water parameters are critical. Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, Ph, temerature and hardness if available allow us to suggest a medication that will work. Just shotgunning meds without knowing the water perameters can be ineffective and in some instances deadly. With no other info to go by just step up water changes and treat with aquarium salt dosed at 1 tabelspoon per 5 gallons of water. If you get any other info please post it. If it seems to get worse get your water tested and post.
