as most you know my kelberi's egg tube has been exposed fully..this tube is exposing fully time to time still..but no eggs..she swims around my mono flaring at him but he just got that "uh duh" look on him..what can i do or is there anything i can do to get my mono "in the mood" lol or something..i really want to breed them..any tips or ideas?

wc maybe? Enough to drop the temp like 5 degrees or something but not too sure on how many. Did u add some slate in there?

ya do you have a place to for her to lay the eggs? Also pm stevenrox.

ok the temp in my tank is 87 right now give or take..it varies from 85-87..i'm adding slate asoon as i can find some..went to home depot but couldent find nothing..

Add some cold water to your tank, and that should get them going... Also, get the largest piece of slate you can fit. They will lay thousands of eggs and you need room for them. The temp is best kept at 84 and up. They should breed in ph 6-7 so you could keep track of that. Watch all other fish in the tank because when breeding comes along they will destroy the other bass. I have seen this in my potential pair yet to spawn, and it is not cool to watch your fish get the sh** beat out of them.

Try Lowes. I bought slate tile for my kitchen there. If no Lowes, any good tile store should have them. They are quite soft, you can break them easily with a hammer for a more natural look.

Yeah, mainly because they have no experience, but if you can move the eggs to another tank while they are on the slate they should live.
