to keep them for there full life span and not have to upgrade you will be looking at some thing in the neighbor hood of 10' long x 4' wide x 3' high. About 900g.

But even in a lake sized tank that stocking is going to be problematic. Some of the fish you have selected are illegal to own for you in miami. And others are not compatible.

Nice location change.:D

But for more insight on your question try to post around in the other forums.

That are specific to your fish. Like see what size tank it takes for just the aro. Then see what it will take tank wise to house all those catfish species together. And maybe ask in the characins forum about the characins.

I am not saying all at once. Just over time ask around and get some more opinions.

Once you make a thread asking about these fish in there forum you should be asked what else is going in the tank. And at that point you will get good answers.

I will help you out and link this to the characins forum and ask for some more help or opinions.

I hope you do not mind.

Something with a 10' x 4' footprint will get you by for a while, but those dorado are definitely going to be an issue when they get larger. I don't think you would need a tank as large as JohnPTC's to handle this list of fish (with the possible exception of the dorado) but something in the 2K-3K range will probably suffice for the rest.

Oh, I'm not sure how the rhaphiodon will do with this mix. They may get outcompeted for food by the pbass and dorado
