I need some color

I'm looking to add some color to my collection. The fish needs to max out between 10"and 3' and has to be compatible with my current stock. I'm leaning towards blue (such as a green terror) but I'm open to any very bright colorful fish. Any ideas for me?
 
discus max at about 8" and there are many different colors you can find. beautiful fish in my opinion.

A bit too small and not hardy enough but thanks anyway.
 
There are some nicely colored severums out there if you look for them. I must agree with the jack dempsey idea too.
 
Red bay snook could get very red if fed with freeze dried krill. Also, Cichlasoma festae is a nice red color when full grown. C. Ocellaris is also a very colorful fish, not to mention the temensis as well. A nice ornate bichir could add a slight yellow and black to the tank if feed with shrimp and beefheart. What do you have in the tank right now?
 
I'd also say maybe a green terror or a jack depsey I saw one today in a lfs it was beautiful!!
