I have found looking for large glass aquariums to be too expensive. I stumbled across indoor ponds and found them much cheaper, and have many more possibilities. I need some general guidelins on set up cleaning maitnence, the works. I want to have fun before i settle down with my pond, so opinions are welcome. I am thinkng about putting a few 2-3" nice looking green terrors and grow them out. good 6-8" gt sell for $50-$80, and THEY SELL LIKE CRAZY!!! then maybe, a breeding pair of jags (not too many of those around here) Other thoughts are hording fish that out grow peoples tanks, and lfs don't want(my lfs once sold me a great looking 15" thick oscar for a buck just to clear space), maybe some big preditors like longnose gar, also I would really like to have a megladoras pond, or aros or rays. like I said, there are a lot more possibilities with a tropical pond, and less limitations. any help apreciated, i don't have any idea how to do this
how many gallons for a: fahaka or mbu puffer, arampa, silver aro, rtc, lungfish? that would be awsome with a mbu!, by the way, how would i get a veiwing window
