OK i have a 40 g tank it has cat fish and gold fish in it ...the gold fish have ick(whitespots) . None of the other fish in the tank have it i have the gold fish thay are for my scomb he eats them what should i do i put aquarium salt in there but i cant get the temp up since it has a little heater in it its automatic what should i do .

u can always buy better heater, and/or try Kordon Ich attack, its very good for med sensitive fish.
I use quICK cure. It has right on the back how to dose for scaleless/tetra type fish. I've never had any issues with it and I've used it with cat fish, clown loaches, tetras etc...
