i need some helpful advice on what size tank i should buy

right now i have a 3" jack dempsey, 3" firemouth, 6" jurapari, 4" blue crayfish, 4" kissin guorami, 5" black ghost knife, 13" caecillian worm (rubber worm) 3" gold nugget pleco, and last but not least a 3" bichir. i know they will all grow lots more but i just wanted to have an idea of the size i will need right now they are in a 75 and doing well

you need to know what type of bichir you have first. something like a delhezi or a plamas could live in a 75g for life, as they should stay under 18". or you could have an ornate or a lapradei which could potentially could push 2ft or larger for other species.

your other fish, while cramped, could live in a 75g for life, however its highly not advisable. a minimun to be fairly decent for your fish, would be a 125 i guess. this way they have some swimming room, and your not changing the water every 3 days to keep water parameters in check.
 
Get the biggest tank you have space for, floor strength for, money for.

You can always find something to fill it up with or that will grow into it, but it's quite a bit harder if your fish have outgrow an existing tank.
