Here are some aquatic Uruguay natives:

Cabomba caroliniana

Callitriche rimosa

Ceratophyllum submersum

Echinodorus argentiniensis

E. aschersonianus

E. grandiflorus

E. uruguayensis

Egeria densa

E. najas

Eleocharis macrostachya

E. montevidensis

E. sellowiana

Hydrocotyle ranunculoides

Hygrophila costata

Lemna valdiviana

Ludwigia hexapetala/L. uruguayensis

Pontaderia cordata

Potamogeton ferrugineus

Sagittaria montevidensis

No doubt there are many others, but perhaps this will help you get started.
