Hi so i wanted to do a 30 gallon tanganika tank i was realy intrested in julidochromis transcriptus bemba kissi can i even keep them in a 30 gallon tank? If not then what fish from tanganika could i keep

Bcs ive seen people keep a group of them in a 30 gallon and saying that its fine but some people say its not too good

I have no experience with any Tanganyika cichlid species but tagged some experienced members.

30 g is fine for a pair of transcriptus. The fry can stay pretty long with the parents, so you will get a small colony.

Just get a group of 6, wait till a pair forms and re-home the others before they get killed.
You can also try with an already bonded pair, but be aware that Julidochromis pairs often break up after changing their environment.
