I'm moving to a new a place and I have 20 Gallon FOWLR. I have a Flame Angel and Green Spotted Puffer. What steps should I take to make sure this transition goes well. I really don't want my fish to die so I would appreciate the best tips.

well since you only have a 20g i'd buy like 5-5gal buckets and possibly more....keep all your old water/live rock/sand and depending on how far you have to move i'd plan on keeping the fish in aerated buckets or somthing so they don't suffocate. temp is also an issue it'd get everything ready and move the fish last and put them in as soon as you can..proviving you acclimate them properly....how far do you have to go? i know a couple miles can take forever on the freeway in rush hour traffic........keep all the fish in seperate containers unless you know they won't hurt one onother during transit....buy lids for the buckets also. i ride w/ my fish in the cab of the vehicle

Hello there,

I know its a fresh water set up, not salt, but check in the articles section of the website by clicking the "articles" link in the top right corner, and check out the article called "moving with a monster". Many of the points the previous poster made were good, but this gives a more in depth look at how the author of the article made his move.

Salt may be a little different, but im sure many of the things pointed out in this article are transferable. Hope it helps a bit!
