Right! So here is the sad story of my fish so far.. Grab some popcorn because this is going to be looong

It all started when someone gave me two guppies that I named glossy and Rachel. Three days late Rachel died because we didn't know ANYTHING about fish. We got the 20 Gallon with two male Tiger Barbs, Tigger and Tiger. Well at least be had sense to swap their tanks instead of keeping them together. A JAR! Sooo Tiger and tiger became buddy's after almost killing each other. They died as well. We later found out that Rachel was a BOY :) Well that was two years ago. Now we have a 100 gal that has 5 goldfish and dieing guppies. Can anyone help? Because I have to get over the oss of half my guppies :(

Well not much to go on here since you didn't give much info. Do you have a heater for the guppies? What's the filtration gold fish are poop machines, is the tank cycled, do you do water changes and how often and how much?

Don't need one. You could fry a egg on the pavement! We have a huge sponge filter. The tank has been cycled and we change the water every 5 days. The goldfish poop floats! They know how to go through a hoop to. We leave enough water for the goldfish to swim in and use a pump.

So you have a cycled tank? How long? A sponge filter for gold fish seems quite inadequate. Are you over feeding? How much water is in the bottom of the tank? If you have a cycled tank with appropriate filtration and good quality water fish should not be getting sick and dying. Unless you have brought in new fish with no quarantine time and exposed your tank to disease that way. So what I would do is take a look at my set up, test my water and do a little research to make sure I am doing everything right and I have given my tank the things it needs to run properly.

My mom won't let me get a test kit. I do not over feed them because I sleep until someone wakes me up for school. The sponge filter is very good and we got a new one because the old one had a fouling dead guppy stuck it it. Their is only 1.1 Inches before it hits the top of the tank. The tank was kinda cycled... Lots of dropsy around though.
