I'm trying to decide between too many different fish. Here's what I'm thinking-I'm going to sell my empty 55 gallon tank and use the money for a 90, or a 75 depending on what kind of fish I get. So here's the fish I'm thinking about-I'm thinking about a single male Green Terror, Jack Dempsey or Red Devil for the 75. I'm thinking about a lot of different things for the 90, though. I'm thinking about a group of needlenose gar or freshwater barracudas, or a combination of the aforementioned cichlids. Either that, or a single male Parachromis friedrichsthalli (Yellow jacket/Freddy cichlid) or P. loiselli, a fairly similar species. Really, whichever one I can get my hands on first. But here's my newest idea, which I'm not totally sure I should try. I was thinking, for the 90 of course, about a single payara-either Hydrolycus scomberoides, or H. tatauia (not totally sure I spelled that right). I've heard that both of those fish are supposed to get to 12-14 inches at adulthood-correct me if I'm wrong, of course. What I'm trying to ask is, can you please help me narrow down my options, or give me some more brilliant ideas? Thanks in advance for the help!
