Pretty sure hes a baby Ossa Knife... for the price I had to take a gamble on him surviveing. much better looking then the other one they had. and so far hes cruising around pretty happily.. so keeping fingers crossed he does well.
anyone else have one? read they get pretty good sized.. and are very docile. cant find much on them, so ive been sticking with what works for the more commonly seen species.

Mine went from 8" to 16" in no time, but started to slow down around 18". Even with there large size, they can get out competed for food.
Best kept in softer water. Feeding is easy; any small meaty foods. They have tiny mouths so mysis, brine shrimp, blackworms, etc. are best.
Also, they're very nocturnal. Most knifefish are, but mine were very timid in the day. Subdued lighting is highly recommended.
