Well I was making my weekly delivery of snails to my LFS and while looking around I saw a bichir head with a mustache, there was no writing on the tank saying there was a bichir in the tank so I looked around the other side of the rock and saw stripes so I asked on of the guys to move the rock and I was pretty sure what I was looking at but I had him check the invoice from toyin and he confirmed it was a weeksii sonI had him bag him up. Apparently they got 2 in and now both have sold before they got a chance to mark the tank lol I'll get in tank photos later

Really cool Is that normal for weeksi to still have ext gills at that size? I though most poly's lost them before about 4" or so?

Yeah. One of my 10" weeksii still has a bit of the external gill.
