Like the title says, I ordered a loiselli and this came. Am I seeing things, or does this look like a juvie umbee? About 1.5-2 inches.

Here is a pic I pulled off the internet of a juvenile umbee. Sure looks similar...

Where ever you ordered that Cichlid from they must make it right and send you what you wanted. if they do not send a loiselli or refund your money back I suggest not doing business wirh them again.

I'm sure they'd happily make it right, but if it's an umbee, I am keeping it. I've wanted one for awhile!

When my pet store screwed me I went in and released all the sugar fliers and ran out. I kinda like wearing a mask all the time.

When young many cichlids look alike.
What you have, could very well be Loissellei by the way I see it (now actually named multifasciatus)
They look similar to some I had when young.
Here are a couple of shots of some I had n dark substrate.

Your substrate is very bright (white) so may be washing out true colors.
I use darker substrate, which usually allows cichlids to show natural coloration.
All cichlid instinctually try to blend with the colors of their surroundings.

Im kinda split on this. On one hand if its not in fact loiselli you should get a refund, but on the other, if you bought it from a LFS you must have liked the looks of the fish when you bought it. I say grow it out and see what you got.
