I put my Jewels in with my Oscars

I put my 4" Jewels in with my wifes 5" and 10" Oscars, last night. It was interesting at first. The Jewels went after a Cory, and the big O just got between them and sat there. Then they went after a Pleco, and the big O got between them and just sat there. Then the little O started chasing them, not attacking, just chasing. After 10 minutes, the Jewels had the left side of the tank, the little O had the right side, and the big O had whatever he wanted. If the jewels went to the right side, the little O chased them back to the left side. If the little O went to the left side of the tank, the Jewels would chase him back to the right side. After a little while, the Jewels decided to stand up to the big O, as soon as he fully opened his mouth, they backed off. Now everybody is swimming freely in the tank. So now the pecking order is the little O, then the Jewels, as long as the big O allows it.

It's a 75 for now, once we get the move done, it will be at least 265. We have a problem, being on the second floor. I know it is tight, but it is overfiltered, and has regular gravel siphons and water changes. I just sold the 125 I was going to put them in, because there was no point in bringing it upstairs, setting it up, to just break it down ,to move it, set it up again, then break it down when the new tank comes.

LOL, I can just picture it. Would love to have seen it. Reminds me of my firemouth with his napoleon complex chasing my oscar around until the oscar finally had enough. Didn't hurt him but just turned around and opened his mouth at the little firemouth, and I guess it scared him so the firemouth went and hid. It was pretty funny.

I am in the same boat as you, I am kinda stuck with the tanks I have now until I move. I am soo eager to get a 200+ tank but I just can't until I move.
