TOday this big guy jumped out of the tank- through the glass top! Luckily I was in the office & heard him flopping on the floor. Look closely you can see his chin, gill & side scales that got damaged from the incident.

Yikes!!! How far was it from the top of the tank to the floor? Jumps like that terrify me because I think of possible damage to internal organs. Never had any of my pbass do that, but I've had several dithers about 2 years ago that have died about a week later from internal injuries.
