I stopped my the lfs and was going along the tanks. A few localy bred, non-dyed pink jelly beans, some Great pictus-$10, almost worth it (might get a Great 5" spotted) then i came across the best angel ive ever seen! its body was thesize of my hand, minus the fingers, had huge fins and 2CM whatever-they're-called-things-on-the-tail-ends, was ----- thick, and had a huge hump for an angel. It was show quality, marbled. I asked the owner if it was one of his breeder males (he has a angel breedery in the shop basement), And I here " no, that thing is sterile, The owner is a breeder who had a power out, so i'm holding it for him. this is actually a hybrid between a severum and an angle. He made it himself" that thi9ng was amazing! I have never seen anything like it. When I have free time, I'll get pix, and see if i can contact the hybridist that made this great angel. You guyz have any pics of some?

Angels are capabile of reaching a pretty decent size. I highly doubt it was crossed with a severum.

That's what I was thinking. Even if it were possible a Severum would harass that Angel to death before they ever bred.

thats what i thought but this thing had a monster hump. I dunno, like i said, i will try to get in touch with the breeder. nevertheless, it is a remarkable angel.

Sounds like a big old angel, I dont think the 2 species can cross but you never know.I would love to see a pic or 2.
