I scratched my new tank!!!

I was using a mag algae cleaner and a rock got caught and scratch the outside. I was so mad when i saw the scratch
Lesson learn never trust those mag algae cleaners. Not deep but bugs the heck out of me

hope it's one of those scratches that you as an owner, are just too ocd to ignore. i guess location of scratch also depends.

How did you manage to get a rock caught on the OUTSIDE of the tank??? I could understand if it caught a piece of substrate from the inside and scratched the inside glass.

I have a friend with a Discus tank and he has sand as a substrate, well he was trying to get some of the algae just below the sand line and trapped some of the sand under the magfloat. Long story short, he now has scratches all over the front of his 125g discus show tank...

well i let the to clamp together and it must of stayed on but it looks from the outside
