I'm removing baffles in a 75g sump I have. I originally put in the baffles with rtv108 and now they are ridiculously hard to remove. I actually broke the first one, and I'm looking at the other 3 and thinking that breaking them might not be a bad idea... I should have used GE1 and made it easy to remove

So there ARE applications where GE1 is superior! If it is something that you may ever want to remove and isn't a structural seam, there you go!

I ended up just breaking the baffles and I'll recut them with a sheet of 1/4" acrylic I have. I'll use GE1 to put these in for the 75g wet/dry. Sad when the baffle breaks before the silicone does,

Thick leather gloves and I removed the leftovers.
