I'm removing baffles in a 75g sump I have. I originally put in the baffles with rtv108 and now they are ridiculously hard to remove. I actually broke the first one, and I'm looking at the other 3 and thinking that breaking them might not be a bad idea... I should have used GE1 and made it easy to remove :(

So there ARE applications where GE1 is superior! If it is something that you may ever want to remove and isn't a structural seam, there you go!

I ended up just breaking the baffles and I'll recut them with a sheet of 1/4" acrylic I have. I'll use GE1 to put these in for the 75g wet/dry. Sad when the baffle breaks before the silicone does, :D

Thick leather gloves and I removed the leftovers.
