Look up
I was feeding my RD in her tank yesterday and I realized the water was a bit cool. I checked the ebo jager heater and there was no light indicating it was on. :irked: I gotta buy a new heater. But today I was going to do my w/c while the new heater soaked and when I went under the tank the heater was just unpluged:screwy::hitting:. I guess i shoulda looked first.

Go ahead and laugh

hahaha. But next tank if one of your heater fail to work, at least you have a back up.

LOL! Rule number one for electronic equipment: Make sure it's plugged in. :owned:

I've done that, only with my filter. It was off for a good day or so. I did the water change and cleaned the filter pads on a sunday, about 2 in the arvo. Didnt plug it in, and only when I came back from school on the monday, 3 in the arvo, did I notice it was unplugged!!
Nothing died.

Funny thing Im reading this because this has happened to my dwarf cichlid tank ywice in the past 2 weeks.

Typical temp of 79f went to 62f...everything has survived except maybe some snails.

I can always tell when nobody comes out to eat......
