So being stationed in Korea has put a dampener on my fish keeping to the fullest. I guess I decided to go a bit nano to still stay in touch with the hobby. I started an 8g planted tank. I am still deciding on wether I want shrimps or if I want to actually keep my fish that I have in it now which is 5 pepper corys and a pair of my german rams. Just figured I would share my tank as of right now. I plan to get some mosses of some sort once I am able to get down to Seoul and scope out the stores they have there. Thanks for looking, comments and advice welcome.

Looks great. I love that driftwood. Like the contrast of the red substrate and green plants. I'm second guessing myself now because I just ordered Seachem Flourite in black.

Sent from my mind to my fingers to my phone to the MFK servers to you

Thanks, appreciate it. I was going to go with black but thought this would look nice.

Thats looks really sweet for such a small tank... hats off to you sir...

But i would have thought in Korea there would be some decent fish shops? since it seems most parts of Asia have quite good selections of fish if you know where to look...

Appreciate it Homer, always knew you liked planted tanks, how is your puffer doing? The last time I saw a pic of him you just got him. There is an abundance of awesome shops. It's just you have to know where to look, and the language barrier puts a dampener on me trying to find my way around a gigantic city. But when I do find the shops I will definitely take pics.

Yes Curtis, I am. I'm Army.

^ Thanks, yeah my fahaka is doing good... getting bigger now at around 14" - 15" long so can't complain...

I hear ya with the language barrier, since in Korea i heard not many people speak English, and even those that do tend not to want to speak it in public (although not sure if thats true)?

Man he got big, that's awesome.

Eh, it's a hit and miss really. When I went to pick up this tank the man who helped me spoke broken English and helped me pick out the stuff I needed to make my tank, I thanked him much and smiled. You kinda gotta kill them with kindness and use basic hand gestures with facial expressions. It helps lol.

Appreciate it Curtis.

I did some re planting and added a few new plants, removed my rams and added in some Amano shrimps. I dont have a fts but I snapped a few of the shrimp. Ill grab a tank shot later.9905_498349286925032_1073482951_n.jpg1237879_498349306925030_1081982778_n.jpg1174536_498349343591693_997593717_n.jpg
