I Still Don't Know What It Is

Hey everyone. I still don't know what this fish is. When I bought it, it was white with black splotches. Now, only the tail and part of his/her face are black. He/she is in the same tank with my flowerhorn that laid eggs a couple of weeks ago but weren 't fertilized. They seem to be getting along so hopefully it's a male and will fertilize the next batch of eggs. The only thing is that the female is larger so I don't know if it can happen. On the last picture you can kind of see that it has green pearls on it. Opinions please and also if fry's are possible. Thanks, Ed.

Can you tell what sex it is and will it be able to breed with my female rd even though it's smaller than her?
