It just blows my mind.. cause right before my 7" female laid eggs she was hanging around with this one, they followed each other everywhere. And the eggs were brown which means fertile.. I had one other dovii in the tank but it was a runt, only 3" and the larger female hated it, no clue on it's sex though.
But this does explain why the larger female will have nothing to do with this one, although it doesn't explain the bronze spots above the vertical line, there goes that theory.
