I think I’ve finally done it

what type of moss/plant is that attached to the wood?

love to incorporate some into my 250g

Finally an aqua scape that hasn’t declined into an absolute mess after 3 months. I think I’ve finally done it, just a small 30 gallon/130 litre. Not sure if I’ve done any particular style or whatever. I’m just happy it’s basically worked.
Just a few cherry shrimp (my first time also).

This was my order list, I had to use tissue cultures due to having very low success rates with live potted or emersed plants. Just don’t travel well interstate to where I am.

I’ve had some success with Taxiphyllum alternans 'Taiwan Moss' in my 300g but I had to plant all in one bunch or my fish would just pick it apart and and it would just end up in the filter or everywhere.

Aquarium glue super glue here’s what it looked like at the start. My biggest issue was the aqua soil being so loose the Monte Carlo kept floating. Had some hair algae and green algae at the start but it was all taken care of by the shrimp over time.

Only been trimming the ludwigia and rotala, couple of the crypts melted but all but 1 recovered. By far my best success rate so far in all my attempts.
