I've been messing with my dslr. Had some time off. It's a Nikon D5000.

I've turned the flash of. And added three other aquarium light's to the tank. The rest of the room is pretty dark. These are the best pic's i've taken so far. Still nothing special, But i think i might be on the right track. 1500 picture's later. lol

Now i just need my dead fish back! :ROFL:

Nice! I like the 2nd picture and the one with the reflection with the side of the tank, #9.
 
Hay BigJ....looking good.

Try and adjust your ISO (i keep mine at 200) , and If you can, Adjust shutter speed..
 
nice! not using the built in flash definately reduces the glare and prevents washing the colour out. butif you want really detailed shots like the ones chaikita or neo gets, you need an overhead flash. look at some of the tutorials on aquatic photog, it really helped me get started on getting better pics! gd luck bro
