OK it's a 180,filtered with 1 Eheim 2262 and 1 Eheim 2080

1 aro (I know I won't be able to keep for life in this tank)
2 oscars
2 severums
6 silver dollars
5 spotted pictus cats

I think these should all be compatible, but I am not sure.
If there is anything else I can add, please let me know.I don't care about what it is,all suggestions are needed and welcome.

I was thinking about some green tiger barbs, but I know there is a very good chance of them getting eaten.
So like I said, throw out any opinions for the stocking I am planning, and any ideas to add to the fish I have mentioned, unless it will overstock the tank.I am open to everything.

get only 1 pictus. when they get bigger, they become very territorial against other pictus so its best to have only 1. Maybe 2 in the 180gal tank.

Spotted pictus only get to be about 5 inches, and do better in schools.
Does this sound like a decent stocking list to anyone else?

:nilly: ive heard so many different opinions on these fish....
one place i heard that theyre territorial against each other.
one place i heard that they do fine when kept singly.
now youre telling me that they school.

Place number 1=wrong.
Place number 2=wrong.
Me=right. Sorry, but these catfish are best kept with their own species, atleast 3 or more.

no need to be sorry ;)
always good to learn something new.
besides, i always though they looked better in groups lol.

that said, i think the stocking list is fine as is.

If you move the aro once it gets longer than the width of the tank, it's a good stocklist.
