Went out in the living room to check on my 130 gallon and I think my short body ZZ has paired with what I have always suspected as a male blood parrot, Ziggy.

Does she look like a she? Her tube has dropped I think its a female tube, plus shes as fat as the night is dark.

Yeah that's a confirmed female...I have never seen a male go that dark when they are in breeding mode, whether it is pictures or not.

She originally was a impulse buy and I was gonna get rid of her but now that she is a female I think I am gonna keep her.

Shes actually really poor quality but she looks real nice in her breeding colors.

she is not poor qual the only thing she is missing is fin markings/pearls.
if you have no pic of the father of her then you dont know if she has bad genitics.
if you breed her with ur male u might get some amazing fry, or not. its just a gamble

Heres her a few weeks after I got her (the one of the far left). I assumed she was a male because she has no dorsal flower.
