Help, i have had one hell of a day, my 55 cracked, luckilly while i was down there, so, i went and got another for a good deal, problem is that i was soooo tired i didnt realize that it is a 60G Marineland brand tank. Ive read a couple posts on here about marinland tanks shotty quality and tanks cracking, so my question is should i just keep the thing or hassle with taking it back and finding a different brand?? i dont know what to do, anyone with experience have an opinion of what i should do, tank looks just fine, but, there are those threads, please help

PLEASE ADVISE ASAP!!!

The marineland tank will do just fine. They are one of the largest manufacturers of tank, like any company there may be some bad ones.

you should be fine. although marineland bought out Perfecto several years ago and didn't really improve on the build quality very much, the chances of having a tank fail are still very rare, especially if the tank is purchased brand new.

you should be fine.

in my opinion, the build quality differences between Marineland and Aqueon/Oceanic are really only a factor with the larger tanks.

for tanks 75g and under there probably isn't much of a difference.

enjoy your new tank.
