I think I was given the wrong pleco

I bought 3 of what I thought were rubber/bulldog plecos tonight, but upon getting home and actually looking at the bag, I noticed that one is not like the other two.

Here is a picture of two of them. The third looks like the darker one.



What kind of plecos would you guys say these are? I don't THINK they're the same kind of pleco, seeing as how they don't look alike at all, but I also don't know anything about plecos. They're all between 2 and 3 inches right now. Thanks for any help guys.

yes id say is a young bushy nose.. ^^^

Are bushy nose as good as rubber at eating algae? If so, then I guess I'll just keep them.

They are both good at eating algae. The BN may get up to about 5 inches...still acceptable in a small tank. I say keep them both

The larger one is a bulldog or rubber-lipped pleco.

It's funny that I bought three fish and two ended up being the wrong kind. Makes me wish I had a decent fish store in the St. Louis area.

Well at least you didn't buy three and two ended up dead We had a problem with a lot of fish stores doing that but recently a lot of them have closed or got there act together... Still I love a fish store like the ones I hear about in the new jersey area.
