it all started with a little 2gal betta tank with a betta and some ghost shrimp that my sister no longer wanted, then when my betta died I picked up my first 10gal tank. That one has seen neons, danios, ottos, and ghost shrimp, and a clawed frog or two thanks to my sister. After a while I decided I wanted to try my hand at a planted tank, so I got a second 10gal and planted java ferns, some scarlet plant (forget its actual name, but it;s red and tall), and added an emerald cory, peppered cory, and a couple neons and glowlights. after a while, and after the deaths of the tetras, I picked up a male betta and two females, and later added a couple different tetras and an otto.
now I'm planning to construct a stand and tank, either 4'x2'x2' (120gal) or 4'x2'x3' (180gal) and create a cichlid habitat, hopefully planted as well. I LOVE my planted tank, and when the fish in my "plastic" tank (the one with plastic plants and cheesy decorations) die, I'm going to redo it with dense vegetation and either guppies or killifish.
Besides fish, I also have a horse addiction, and I have to split my money between my horse and my aquariums
