to many crap starters.
people only seem to post to the stupid threads lately.
i talk to people,pm or public,and get no replies back.
admins seem to always be right behind me waiting.
so im done here for a while.
tuff to give up a habit youve done everyday for a year but it seems like i get so much crap or get ignored and lately it just pisses me of.
im sure i will still lurk and sometimes check pms,or reply if someone says something to me
but im done posting.
i will finish my few diy threads once done tho.

Damn midnight! I had to take a break due to communication inabilities on my part. I was just typing to fast I think. Venting is a good thing, quitting is not. Things get stale from time to time. You are one of the people that I check every thread I see you have commented on. You are a much appreciated and needed member. But not posting anymore will not hurt anyone. Sorry you are having a tough time.
 
No Midnight please don't leave! Just because there are dumb people here doesn't mean that you can't ignore them or just "walk" away. The good people here are way over the annoying people here.

Besides, who can I look up to when I try a DIY project? :(
 
As an avid forum shark (A person who goes on MANY different forums) I can tell you this is normal... Usually this starts when the Lounge/Off topic section become big. People start coming here for another form of social interaction rather then learning and helping, which isn't really a bad thing either, but it does kinda take away from part of the forum.

Its a cycle, this happens, it will get better and it will happen again. I've been a forum shark for 7 years now, and I probably have over 10-15k posts all over different forums about different things... Bass, birds, fish, Fishing, reptiles, tarantulas etc etc etc... This always happens.

The only forum where I didn't see this was a fishing forum, there was no OT/Lounge section. It was just an info site.
 
Don't let them get the better of you mate. You are a major contributer to this forum and it will be a shame to lose someone with knowledge who is able to help others because of some keyboard warrior. I totally agree with what Rakie said, it happens on all sites.

Come on midnight don't let the noobs get to you. There have been a couple interesting threads lately but I know what you mean it is getting a little repeatative with the noob posts. I get mad at some of the ridiculous things people say as they are just plain stupid but hey suck it up. You can't control it and why loose something that has been a part of your life for a year lol. You have some awesome DIY's and I want to see more from you. I am wondering why post this thread though? Not trying to be a smartass by no means but are you just trying to let people know that you think we should improve or what?:)
 
Sometimes you just have to take a break.. Sometimes it's way easier to lurk then get caught up in everything.. I think everyone understands.
