Just got a fire eel about a foot long that hasnt eaten 5-6 days. I've tried earthworm, market prawn, blood worm and various pellets. Is it safe to wait for a good amount of time like I do with my datnoids? I know he will take live ghost shrimp, but there are no good sources around here for them and I would prefer non-live food. He is "hunting" ghost shrimp in my tank between rocks and driftwood, he finds a crevice and just sucks up so sand comes out his gills. Pretty cool way of hunting!
