The crazy u brought this fish up, cause i just seen this fish at all aquatics in trenton.nj for the first time last week.

I´ve seen these once here in sweden, I know they are called Chanda something. I regret now that I didnt bought them.
I guess you could keep them with your feede.. aherm.. goldies.

Edit: they are not chanda anymore. They are Parambassis pulcinella.

I have one. It's incredibly shy anytime the camera comes out. Has a huge mouth compared to its body size. Neat fish.

They are a nice fish but do need to be kept in groups really. I think that we have around 6, not studied them long to be honest.

We get them locally alot.. But really cool fish.

They really do seem to do best in groups. I could only afford one when I got mine, and it seems to be happy and active and healthy by itself in my semi-aggressive planted community.

Eventually I would like to get more.

They only issue I have had with it is that sometimes it got very excited and bashed the glass so it beat up its chin. Melafix and time healed it right up, and it quickly learned the tank though, so it's all good.
