Spotted are in missouri and looking at its fins i would say a spotted bass, would like to get a picture of the tail, it would be more forked then a lmb.

No, that one is LMB. Look at the spinous dorsal fin. The longest spines are much longer than the shortest ones (near the soft dorsal). This gives the appearance of the dorsal being split. On spotteds, Guadalupes, etc, the fins look more connected.
