I think just lost

So I think I'm just lost as to what to do. I have an about 8 inch long Colombian Shark I want to rehome. My friend talked me into taking it to a fish store and I didn't like what they told me. Most of the stores are saltwater around here. I just can't find anyone to take it.
My sister the one who talked me into getting it for my son.... She was like let it go. So of course I had to tell her these things did not work like this. I guess I needed to vent/ask for ideas. At the point that it is at it needs more then most can give it. I have had it for a while. I just want to find a nice home for it. I don't want to sell it. Omg and the Pleco is just a ****ing machine. The Pleco is about 9 inches long. Does nothing. Ugh! Thanks for listening.

Yeah I saw your post about yours laying eggs. If you lived closer I would sooooo hand the shark over lol. If there was a way. Know anyone visiting Fl.? lol

It's a marine fish now. Give to them. 8" is a little early, but better to go full marine too soon than too late. It's already slated to be brackish by this size, so just finish the job early and put into a big reef. He'll love it.

They were talkin about just dumping it into a salt tank. They didn't care about getting it used to full salt. That is what concerned me. To have it live this long and to give to someone who didn't care. No thanks....
Thanks everyone for lettin me rant a bit. There is one place I will call. I just need to hear the right answers before I give it to anyone. Really no clue if its a boy or girl.
