has Gill Irritation. the gills are red with crimson lumps. Most of my other Cichlids in there have the lumps, and my Red Zebra Cichllid has the red, but I think that's just how they look.

I just tested the ammonia and it came up around 10-15 ppm. but I don't think that little ammonia would do anything, would it?

I'd like to know what causes it, how to fix it and how much it would cost. Is there something that they sell for something like finrot or hole-in-the-head or what? I'd also like to know how to prevent it from happenning. please help!

Oh, and I got the bumblebee about 2-3 days ago, and yesterday it was as happy and as healthy as it should be. it acts like nothing's wrong, but I wouldn't know, I'm kinda new to the Cichlid world.

10-15 ppm? This is grossly inaccurate to me. Your fish would already be dead. What test kit are you using? Traces of ammonia can cause gill burns.
