I think my Female Rainbow cichlid ate the spawn

She was doing great with her and her mate fanning the eggs but looked over tonight and it looked like most of them were gone. First time for them. I am disappointed. Other people tell me that sometimes it takes a few spawning cycles for them to get it right.

Are the eggs several days old? If so, watch for wrigglers.

It definitely can take a few tries for them to get it right. How many eggs are left, are you sure they weren't fungused and eaten?

There were over 100 eggs 2 days old now there are none. No fungus detected.
