Ive had them since like june when they were 2''. They are now 4-5'' and acting like mature RTs. The female gets the classic coloration only when shes actin frisky. Heres some pics of the pair and some of her at her peak of horniness. Shes been doin this vertical dance for the male for a couple days now. Folks, I think that this could happen!!

Yup... 5'' and just got adult coloration last month. They grew up together. They just are painfully slow growers.

My pair was not much larger than that when they first spawned. Be warned it is about that size that they decided to become homicidal too. Make sure that there are hiding places if one gets roughed up.

Yeah!! Ive had mine with large pikes, cichla, parachromis, viejas, you name it.
