I put one of my bigger indos in the tank with Beast,my big ST.It went well for a few days and then I came home to find that the indo had a few wounds and what looked like bite marks on it's body.It was down on it's side and I thought that it was dead untill I noticed that it was breathing.I instantly knew who the culprit was so I removed the indo to another tank but I notice that it looks as if it can't hold itself up in a normal vertical position. The indo lies completely flat on the bottom, something it has never done before and when I place my hand in to move it it can't even swim away from me.I'm wondering if it's swim bladder was injured and if it will heal?

To my knowledge if it was a swimbladder problem the fish would not be on the bottom but at the top. Swimbladder disease is usually when an air bubble stuck in the fish and it throws off their balance thus making them kind of float up to the surface and they struggle to stay down. I'm not really sure what it could be hopefully Lupin or another disease expert will chime in on this one
good luck

Thanks J.I'm thinking this is more of an injury sustained to that organ or area of the fish's body than a disease though.Maybe it is another ogan that is injured. The indo was perfectly okay untill my ST got to it.

He is alive and looks well but still can't hold himself upright in the normal vertical position. Thanks for your concern.
