I think my ornate might be dying

this morning when I woke up I looked in my tank and my ornate ate my dojo loach. The dojo was 4" and the ornate is 5". The tail was sticking out of his mouth, he must have eaten it when i was sleeping. so i find him just laying on the bottom eating the loach and i didnt think anything of it. i went to check on him again and the tail is still out of his mouth and he is still sitting on the bottom flapping his gills.

what should i do?

id grab him and pull it out, bichirs can choke on food that is to big. my friend lost his endli cuz it choked on a piece of shrimp. very stupid way of losing a fish
