I think my tank smells.

I've tried a few things the past two days and the room with my 55 has this smell in it like a dead fish. All of my fish are accounted for tho. How do I get the smell to go away I did water changes took the filters out and cleaned them to look almost new. I
Not sure what the problem is. Is there something I'm missing?

keep up with the water changes. how bad is the smell?...spray the room with febreeze

I am using carbon and I did recently with a water change it didn't start to smell until after I vacuumed. Almost smells like something is dead but like I said before everything is accounted for
